We proudly celebrated the opening of the College of Dentistry on The University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) campus last week. To increase space for dental training, the building expansion provides an opportunity to bring all of the educational and clinical programs together under one roof and the new clinic offers an enhanced patient experience.
“This is a great day for Memphis. This is a great day for the state of Tennessee,” said UTHSC Chancellor Peter Buckley, MD. “Today is a dream come true. It is a transformation not just in the building and in the new training environment. It is a transformation that will benefit the health care of Tennessee.” The UTHSC College of Dentistry is the third oldest public college of dentistry in the country and trains 75% of Tennessee’s dentists.
