The renovation is underway at the historic Muellner Building to provide an updated home for the Wauwatosa Curling Club. The project will renovate a majority of the facility including restoring the original heavy timber barrel vault ceiling structure where the ice sheets are located.
“We're trying to bring the building back to its original character. We had a very 1990s-looking façade and as part of this project we're trying to bring the building back to its original character from the ‘40s,” said David Simpson, Director of Public Works for Wauwatosa.
