Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine opened their new, larger dental clinic on June 3rd.
The three-story, 132,000-square-foot facility is part of a joint effort between CWRU and the Cleveland Clinic to develop a Health Education Campus. Kahler Slater served as the clinical dental education specialist in partnership with DLR/Westlake Reed Leskosky. Approximately 19,000 patients were treated at the clinic’s previous facility each year. The new building, with its larger size plus additional technology and equipment, will enable the clinic to serve more patients, perform more complex procedures, and reduce the number of visits required to complete certain procedures.
