Meriter Health Services Opens Monona Clinic

Meriter Health Services hosted an open house for their new Monona Clinic located in Monona, Wisconsin on Friday, October 20th. Kahler Slater executives and designers were on hand to celebrate the second clinic the health system has opened in the past two months. The Monona Clinic is the largest clinic for the health system and features a patient-centric design. Kahler Slater provided architecture, interior design and medical planning for the clinic.

"This local clinic isn't just about making it easier for our patients to see their family doctors. This is an architectural metaphor for Meriter's vision for the future – the ability to see a family doctor immediately in order to help our patients and members manage their health, manage wellness and detect possible serious problems early,'' said Jim Woodward, Meriter President & CEO.

The striking design includes 57,600 sf of primary care, internal medicine, and family medicine clinical and office space. Also on site, the Monona Clinic offers imaging and laboratory services, therapy services including physical therapy, hand therapy and return to work. Growth plans for the clinic include the ability to provide pediatric, OB/GYN, medical psychology, orthopedic and rehabilitation medicine services in the near future.
