Kahler Slater Selected to Design New Indoor Sports Complex in South Dakota

The City of Tea in South Dakota has announced plans for a new multi-purpose indoor sports complex to host tournaments, events, and be a facility for the entire community. Kahler Slater is pleased to share we have been selected to design, program and plan this exciting new facility.

Proposed programming includes indoor basketball and volleyball courts, a pickleball area, dance studio, wrestling gym, community spaces, a fitness center, a turf area for football, soccer, baseball, and softball, a spectator area, concessions, and retail spaces. 

“This facility would be an opportunity to pursue and provide additional quality of life amenities to the residents of Tea, an indoor athletic facility that could be accessed by all members of the public. The intent of this is to provide for our community. It’s an amenity for our youth and our elderly," said Justin Weiland, Tea’s City Administrator.
