We are pleased to share our 2017 leadership promotions.

The following individuals have been promoted to Associate Principal and are now share owners of Kahler Slater. Each brings strong leadership to major client projects, key strategic firm initiatives, and service to the community. These leaders live the Kahler Slater core values and bring passion to their work. Each person expertly partners with our clients to design experiences that achieve powerful results!

Associate Principal
Associate Principals are the primary drivers of projects (externally focused) and initiatives (internally focused) at Kahler Slater. An Associate Principal is a communicator and facilitator who readily employs and shares his/her expertise while orchestrating a team to successfully deliver on our promises for his/her current projects.

Mike Franz, AIA, LEED AP, Associate Principal – Mike is a highly skilled project manager with more than 15 years of health care experience. Mike focuses on strong team communication to ensure budget, schedules, and project goals stay on track throughout the design and construction process.
Skip Holschbach, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, Associate Principal – Skip specializes in leading the documentation, engineering coordination, and construction administration of large-scale health care environments. He is passionate about sustainable design principles and has an expertise in BIM management that he applies to all of our projects.
Mary LaFrombois, ASID, IIDA, LEED AP, Associate Principal – Mary is an award-winning interior designer with more than 30 years of experience specializing in health sciences education and clinical environments. She excels in facilitating the discovery process to identify common themes, which ensures our clients’ interior design is seamless through all aspects of their facilities.
Amber MacCracken, Associate Principal – Amber is a skillful designer who brings an ability to execute innovative concepts quickly and thoroughly on every project. Amber is known for producing high-quality interior architectural design solutions that are based on our clients’ goals. She plays an integral role in championing our clients’ vision and seeing that it is manifest in the final result.
Joe Sinnett, AIA, Associate Principal – Joe is a knowledgeable project leader who oversees code research, construction documentation, and technical details while coordinating with architecture, engineering, and outside consultant teams. Joe is skilled at translating complex details into accurate documents and presentation tools that unite design with technology.
