Cornell College Receives Louis I. Kahn Citation Honor

We are pleased to share the Cornell College Richard and Norma Small Athletic and Wellness Center has received the Louis I. Kahn Citation, the top higher education honor, from American School & University Magazine's 2023 Architectural Showcase. The 2023 jury commented that the athletic and wellness center brings “strong modern exterior design...A great example of how to blend the traditional feel of a college building with a modern sleek look. It is aesthetically pleasing with the three elements of glass, stone, and black brick combined.”
