Beth Sholom Village and Pembroke Realty Group proudly celebrated the grand opening of Aviva Pembroke, an innovative and inclusive senior living community, designed to address the growing need for senior housing in the region. The new community, located in the heart of Virginia Beach at the site of a parking lot of Pembroke Square shopping mall, represents a visionary mixed-use development aimed at enhancing the senior living experience.
Aviva Pembroke combines three distinct residential offerings—independent living, assisted living, and memory care services—into one dynamic campus with modern amenities and a focus on promoting an active and vibrant lifestyle. The community is thoughtfully designed to provide residents with a continuum of care, ensuring they have access to additional support as needed.
Designed by Kahler Slater, the 153-unit community features a seamless integration of residential and hospitality-style amenities. The independent living portion includes 121 units, including 2-story townhomes with access to a green roof and amenity deck. The community also offers 12 memory care rooms and 20 assisted living units.
Key amenities at Aviva Pembroke include a pool, fitness center, bistro, community room, and a meditation and prayer room. Residents can also enjoy outdoor spaces, including a rooftop lounge and terrace, pickleball courts, putting greens, firepits, and an outdoor amenity deck. These features create a welcoming and engaging environment where residents can live with dignity, independence, and support.
With the opening of Aviva Pembroke, Beth Sholom Village is proud to contribute to the region’s senior housing solutions while fostering a thriving community for its residents.
