Kahler Slater was chosen by the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater to design two facilities for two of their top athletic programs. The Baseball Training Center and Football Training Facility will transform how many student-athletes train on a daily basis.

The Football Training Center, which is an addition to the existing Athletic Services building, provides the athletic department with an expanded football locker room along with a renovated and expanded athletic training center including three hydrotherapy pools. The athletic training center is used by the football team and many other teams on campus.

The Baseball Training Center, adjacent to Miller Stadium, houses the locker room facilities and coaches offices for Warhawk Baseball. The design also includes an Alumni Lounge overlooking the stadium. The lounge is used both on gameday to provide an upscale view of the game, and on non-game days for special events.
