Heartland Advisors was looking to relocate their offices to offer an elevated guest experience, modernized finishes and reinforce their boutique, family firm brand. Since 1984, Heartland Advisors has offered high-quality, customized investment services. As their existing space in Milwaukee began to date itself, Heartland Advisors partnered with Kahler Slater to re-image their space in the new BMO Tower.

Heartland Advisors was able to watch excitedly as the ground up construction of the BMO Tower happened just outside their windows. We worked together to develop their programmatic needs through day-long interviews with department heads. Their culture already embraced the open office plan and provided robust amenities to their staff, including game areas. Kahler Slater planned the new space to support those perks.

Kahler Slater coordinated the design of a custom curved light fixture to mimic the curve of the building in the board room located at the premier curved corner of the building, which showcases the city's views. At the opposite end of the suite, we leveraged the outdoor terrace by planning a flexible work café adjacent. The café was also designed to accommodate Heartland Advisor's commitment to hosting numerous client and industry events. As one of the first tenants of the BMO Tower, Heartland Advisors is excited to be a part of the vibrant business community in the heart of the city.
