ABV Social, an eclectic sports bar resides in a warehouse-style building that harkens back to the historic use of the site as an industrial distribution center. The design uses weathered brick, factory-style windows, and operable garage doors that open to a large covered patio. The large interior volume features worn plaster walls and exposed metal beams with recycled fluorescent tube pendant light fixtures. An upper mezzanine offers additional seating and a vantage point to the active dining room and bar below. Under the mezzanine, there is a game room that is available for private parties.
Designed to emulate the sense of character and time of an aged warehouse building, this concept strives to be as authentic and utilitarian as the real thing. The exposed steel structure, weathered brick, concrete floors, and wired glass bring an honesty to the space showcasing its raw components.
