The environmental branding team is leading branding, public art, signage, and wayfinding efforts for ThriveOn King to elevate the Collaboration’s vision while empowering and engaging the local community.
This dedication is reflected in the Collaboration’s foundational investment, the restoration and redevelopment of the iconic Gimbels-Schuster’s Department Store building. ThriveOn King will become the new home of the Greater Milwaukee Foundation and the community engagement programs of the Medical College of Wisconsin. The first floor of the building will be an innovative community hub offering gathering space, a stage, and a cafe. Anchor tenants include Malaika Early Learning Center, JobsWork MKE, Versiti Blood Center of Wisconsin, and others.
ThriveOn Collaboration was founded by the Greater Milwaukee Foundation (GMF), the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) and Royal Capital with a joint vision for a Milwaukee that is equitable, healthy and thriving for all. This project is being completed in partnership with Engberg Anderson Architects.
