The YMCA of the Northwoods is partnering with Kahler Slater and Miron Construction to design and construct a new facility in Park Falls, WI. The new Flambeau River YMCA will renovate and expand the former city hall. The vision for the future YMCA is to provide increased access to childcare and youth programs, provide support for the senior population, and offer community spaces where people can gather and connect. The facility will also include a health center. 

Due to an increased need for childcare services in the area, the daycare will help to improve the critical need for increased access for children and parents in the Northwoods community. The new facility will be designed as an inclusive center for people of all ages and abilities. Construction is expected to be completed in Spring 2025.
